Yongsheng Chen, Ph.D., is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, Director of the MR Research Facility at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Chen has an adjunct Graduate Faculty Appointment in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State. He was an Assistant Professor – Research in the Department of Neurology from 2018 to 2023, and a Research Assistant in the Department of Radiology from 2015 to 2018 at Wayne State. Prior to joining Wayne State in 2015, he worked in the MR industry for 13 years developing MRI system software and pulse sequences. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering and M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the Northeastern University of China.
