Resident Research
Participation in quality improvement is part of the requirement from the ACGME for adult neurology residents. Residents and Fellows at Wayne State University are involved in a multitude of research, from case reports to clinical trial recruitment and management of patients. In the previous academic years, residents attend conferences and have presented over 40-50 abstracts at regional, national and international conferences. Collaboration with the basic sciences with the "Brain at Wayne" lecture series and symposiums are also an avenue for residents to have access to clinical benchwork scientists and projects.
