DMC/WSU Neurology is one of the largest Neurology residency programs in the US with great fellowship placements for outgoing residents. The faculty and staff are very friendly and highly accomplished. The program deals with a high-volume of patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions - providing us with a lot of clinical exposure. Residents also get to work with medical students and academic staff so the opportunities for learning, teaching, and gaining new skills are aplenty. Being a university program, it greatly emphasizes clinical research.
