Narrative Bio
Dr. Kurban is a graduate from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine but originally hails from Eritrea, Africa. Dr. Kurban worked as a researcher at the University of Chicago with a focus on MS research. He has a strong background in community service, most notably serving on the Board of Directors of the Refugee Education Center in Grand Rapids, MI. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, long distance running in his free time.
