Narrative Bio
Dr. Onwenu is a graduate from the University of Connecticut but is a native of the Detroit metro area and a graduate of MSU undergrad. She has a strong interest in mental health awareness and started Paint Night with her medical school colleagues as was as a Sustainability club. She has research interests in detection of SCID in SGA infants and prepared a case report on symptomatic cavum velum interpositi cysts. She has volunteered for children from disadvantaged homes including work on food insecurity. She has a strong interest in physical fitness including challenging events.
