Narrative Bio

Dr. Nicolau hails from Plymouth, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where he graduated with honors in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. While there, he also went on to earn a masters degree in Molecular and Integrative Physiology. He then completed his medical degree at West Virginia SOM. His interests include neurophysiology, neurorehabilitation, and is active in spasticity and pain research. Outside of medicine, Dr. Nicolau is an accomplished studio musician and a recognized member of the SAG-AFTRA since 2013.
