Other Information

Why did you pick WSU/DMC Neurology residency:  WSU/DMC offers a great opportunity to learn from the vast clinical exposure we get from being in a busy inner city hospital, and the gratification from trying to help one of the most vulnerable groups in Detroit. The entire faculty is very approachable and supportive, and easy to talk to and work with. Plus the Metro Detroit area provides a nice mix between city life and the great Michigan outdoors.

Interests

I enjoy reading and writing a lot, especially literary fiction. A good weekend is one spent at a new brunch place in the city, followed by an afternoon at the Detroit Institute of Arts, or browsing through the Eastern Market or driving up to the beautiful northern Michigan. In short, a one when you’re not on call.

Research interest: Neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy
