Narrative Bio

Dr. Sabeena Malik is Assistant Professor of Neurology here at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Malik joined the Department on July 1, 2020. She completed her Neurology Residency training with the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University School of Medicine form 2016 – 2019. She also completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from 2019 - 2020.

Dr. Malik’s research interests include development of diagnostic tools for neuropathies, and inflammatory neuropathies.

Her clinical area of interest includes inflammatory neuropathies, myopathies and other neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Malik also has training and an interest in the diagnosis and management of seizures.
