Sudad Louis, M.D. Clinical Assistant Professor, Wayne State University School of Medicine was born in Baghdad, Iraq; he obtained his medical degree from Al-Mustansiriya Medical College in July of 1999. He moved to the United States in 2004 and completed his residency in Neurology and fellowship training in Neurophysiology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University.
Dr. Louis worked in Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw, DMC hospitals, St. John Providence hospitals, and Beaumont hospitals. He joined the Associates in Neurology group and started his teaching career at Michigan State University before he moved to a private practice in Sterling Heights, Michigan. He recently resumed his teaching career at DMC/ Wayne State University.
Dr. Louis obtained an American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification in 2013 and the American Board of Neurophysiology certification in 2014; he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University since 2016 and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne States University since 2018. His primarily interest is Neurophysiology particularly in epilepsy.
