The Sleep Medicine Section at the VA Medical Center and Sleep Medicine Program at Wayne State University Medical School were founded by the Neurology Service and are now an interdisciplinary endeavor with the Pulmonary Service under the Department of Medicine supervision. As part of Sleep Medicine, Neurology aims for excellence in clinical, education, and research areas.
