Infectious Disease/HIV/Viral Encephalitis
The Neuro Infectious Disease Division of the Department of Neurology has expertise in the diagnosis and management of viral infections of the nervous system. We have particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of the neurological complications of HIV infection and participate in multicenter trials of new treatments in collaboration with our colleagues in the HIV clinic and in the Neuromuscular Clinic.
