Dr. Deepti Zutshi is Assistant Professor of Neurology, Wayne State University School of Medicine.  She completed her medical training in the six-year Honors Program in Medicine at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida. After completing a preliminary medicine internship in Miami, she completed her neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Zutshi's primary clinical and research interests are in the field of epilepsy and epilepsy surgery and electroencephalography in the acutely ill patient.Furthermore, she has an interest in women's health and neurological disease, particularly in high-risk pregnancy and epilepsy. She is also has a research interest in the effects of medical marijuana in epilepsy/EEG. She participates in graduate clinical education and serves as clinical competency committee chair for the neurology residents
